Lake Worth SailIng Club

LWSC was established in 1935, we are a group of sailing enthusiast devoted to promoting our sport in a friendly family oriented atmosphere. We race, we socialize, and we serve the community. Club members sail Catalina 22’s, Catalina 25's, Sunfish, and an assortment of other sailboats. We have a full racing schedule and we are always on the lookout for crew. 

OUR MEMBERS

LWSC members come from all walks of life, and from all over the DFW area. The one thing that we all have in common is our love for sailing. Racing, cruising, boat repair, all things sailboats! Almost every weekend, the club is bustling with activity, from pleasure sails to bottom jobs. 

RACING

Many of our members love to race, and for that reason we have a race almost every Sunday afternoon. Our captains are always on the lookout for good crew! In addition to weekly racing, LWSC participates in local, region, and national regattas. 

SOCIALS

Our social committee organizes fabulous events year round. Work parties to keep the grounds in order, craw fish boils, St. Patrick's Day parties, Holiday events, and so much more. Our socials are always on point, and tons of fun for the whole family! 

SPECIAL EVENTS

LWSC hosts and participates in a lot of community events. Members volunteer yearly to teach Wounded Warriors how to sail, participate in the Cowtown Great American Clean-up,  and raise funds of charity. 

MEMBERSHIP

Lake Worth Sailing Club is a private, non-profit organization. Membership to LWSC is by invitation only. Applicants will be required to complete and submit a membership application, pay application fees, dues, and any other slip or storage fees. Membership applications are reviewed by the LWSC Board of Directors, and submitted to the membership for a vote of approval. Membership is not automatic, and all applicants are notified of the vote results.
